Chinese New Year is something we annually celebrate aside from our usual yearly celebrations such as Christmas, Valentines, etc. When it comes to celebrating it, nothing is better than visiting the ever-beautiful Chinatown in Binondo, Manila. [Read more…]
Tagaytay has a special place in my heart. It was few days left before our first anniversary when Ron told me that we will be going to Tagaytay as a celebration for our first year together. At first, I didn’t believe him because “why would he even bother to go to Tagaytay when we can just celebrate our day over a special dinner here?” But because Ron is Ron and he is always that kind of man, he really meant it and we really are going to Tagaytay! Hobbies include: discovering and visiting local coffee shops. I have to admit that I always opt to go to low-key coffee shops rather than those expensive and overcrowded ones. [Read more…]
I am a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast. Who would not love coffee? Though I know few people who do not drink coffee and I feel sorry for them, because for me coffee is the key to my everyday life. Does it sound so exaggerated?
One of the misconceptions of going to coffee shops is that it costs too much. Yes, there are coffee shops that are questionably overpriced and the quality of their coffee does not fit well with the money you have spent. It sucks, right? That is why I never tried the expensive ones. I always opt for the nearest and cheapest coffee shops and luckily they offer the best cappuccinos. [Read more…]
Since I am almost done with college, I will be entering the corporate world for real. I cannot believe that after many years of studying, I will finally say goodbye to my school uniform. Yes, work means we have to wear semi-formal outfits every day. As much as we love it, choosing what to wear everyday can be quite hard and also time consuming. We got to admit it. We need to look good and well-presentable every now and then, right ladies? [Read more…]
Living in a tropical country with its pollution and busy lifestyle gives me so much to stress about especially to my face. My face has an oily skin type and finding good products to lessen the oil was quite hard. These past few months, I have used several skincare products such as facial wash, BB cream, and concealer for me to find out what is really best for me. This Christmas, I was able to receive few skincare and hair products that (I think) works best for my skin type. All thanks to my family for giving these as their gifts; they really know what I want, eh? 🙂 [Read more…]
2016 has gone by so fast. I just cannot believe that few days left and we are going to say goodbye to 2016 and greet 2017 with high hopes for yet another great year. Every time a year ends, I always look back to the past 12 months and everything that happened; good or bad, and what it has taught me. I always look back to those people I spent with and those moments I either win or lose. This year, I am happily thinking all the moments and little by little saying goodbye.
This 2016, I will always remember… [Read more…]

Angono, Rizal, the Art Capital of the Philippines, is the place where a lot of famous painters, sculptors, art enthusiasts were born and raised. National Artist Carlos Botong Francisco is one of the painters/muralists that Angono is still taking pride until now.
Because it is a holiday and the boyfriend is from Angono, we planned on visiting the Nemiranda Art House. [Read more…]
When we hear travel, we often think of international travels or can be local, too, but pretty far away from our place. I used to live in Rizal since I was a little kid, but I never had a chance to visit and explore its famous tourist attractions. I do not know, maybe for me “travel” will be better if I could visit far places from Rizal.
But yesterday, I was invited to come along with Ron’s family because it was his Lola’s birthday. We were supposed to go to Tagaytay, but since the travel will be too long for Lola and Lolo; they opted to go to Rizal instead. Not bad; in fact, I was excited. Finally, I will be able to explore Rizal! [Read more…]
